Artist: Art Fronckowiak Fronckowiak’s emergence
of an "Old Florida" style, calling to mind the influence of Old Masters such as Herzog, Inness and Bierstadt. Inland Florida is vast in natural beauty but where is the art, the "old art"
of Florida? After a lot of searching, Fronckowiak came to the conclusion that although some of his favorite old
time Masters came here and painted a few works, there was no body of work and no traditions surviving and flowing from it.
At that point, he made the commitment to try and re-create what should have been. After his first few pieces
in this style, he felt as though he had tapped into an untapped well. The Old Florida paintings are growing
in popularity more than ever. They present a traditional feel which is reflective of a Florida artistic landscape.”
